🔸 [가볍게 생각 시작]

wonder – 궁금해하다 (대상 있음)
mull over – 곱씹다, 고민하다 (대상 있음, 느림)
daydream – 멍하게 상상하다 (대상 없음, 약함)

  • A: I wonder what he's doing right now.
    B: Me too. He hasn’t answered his phone all day.
  • A: You’ve been quiet.
    B: I’m just mulling over something my boss said.
  • A: Hey! Earth to Emily!
    B: Oops, sorry. I was totally daydreaming.

figure out – 이해하다, 알아내다 (대상 있음)
work out – 해결책을 생각하다 (대상 있음)
weigh – 비교하고 따지다 (대상 있음)

hold – 의견을 가지다 (대상 있음, 단단함)
maintain – 주장하다 (대상 있음, 고수함)
view – ~를 바라보다 (대상 있음, 시각적/비유적)

lean toward – ~쪽으로 기울다 (대상 있음, 부드러움)
hesitate – 망설이다 (대상 있음, 대상 유동적)

    B: Yes. I resolved to apply today.
  • A: Any idea which major you’ll pick?
    B: I’m leaning toward psychology.
  • A: Why didn’t you speak up?
    B: I hesitated. It didn’t feel like the right time.
